Eddie de Barra has been following Shels from 1945, (aged 6) to present day. He recalls how his proudest moment was when his cousin John Sherlock played and signed for Shels from Bru Lorcain. Eddie recounts his own playing career for Donore FC, and also playing in The Miller Shield final (Schools G.A.A. competition) in Croke Park. He tells how Shelbourne FC turned down the opportunity to purchase Shelbourne Park and talks about his favourite Shels players which included Eddie Gannon and Rory Dwyer.
